Frosteez is a well-established and growing Automotive Air-conditioning firm located in Darra, SEQLD. Our team is well known for the high-quality automotive air-conditioning services we provide to our clients from our workshop and mobile services. 

Our air-conditioning department is looking for a Junior Automotive Air-conditioning Technician who is self-motivated, reliable and looking for a mentor to help you increase your skills and advance your career.

We’re looking for a junior Automotive Air-conditioning Technician who is committed to their own continuous personal development and has ambitions to advance within our growing company.

In this role, you can expect to start on a base salary of:

$66,000 p/a + super ($73,260)

In addition to a competitive base-salary, you can also expect to receive scheduled, annual pay increases.

The potential career progression for an Automotive Air-conditioning Technician at Frosteez is:

Air-conditioning Technician > Sr Technician > Trade Manager 

Whilst we’re looking for an individual with leadership abilities, you will receive one-on-one mentoring directly from the companies director and CEO.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive air-conditioning faults
• Regas vehicles
• Air-conditioning servicing & Repairs
• Compressor & Condenser replacements
• Compressor repairs

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate II Automotive Air-conditioning Technologies
• Fit to carry out both field and office duties
• Open vehicle licence (manual would be preferable)
• Excellent time management
• Ability to operate autonomously
• Reasonable computer knowledge
• Good technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have ambition to self-develop and advance within the company

The following would be desirable:

• ArcTick Refrigerant Handling Licence (R134a)
• 12 months experience in a similar role
